Our client is a growing, fast-paced and dynamic company that provides innovative risk assurance products to individual clients. They are looking for a Qualified Actuary to join their Systems and Analytics team as a Manager. The purpose of this role is to use data analytics skills to enhance retention and distribution strategies, improving business processes, identify product opportunities, assist overviewing product implementation specs and vetting scenarios to ensure products are implemented as designed and that administrative system values are actuarially sound.

Candidates who are interested should be a Qualified Actuary with at least 3 years’ work experience in the Life Assurance industry. You should have experience applying ML/regression models in analytics and have previous systems work or software testing experience. You should have SQL, R and or Python experience.

Responsibilities will include:

• Using data analytics skills to optimise business processes, new business volumes and enhance retention and distribution strategies.
• Being involved in developing new innovative product ideas and analysing experience to aid the pricing team.
• Building MI data visualisation dashboards to help senior management making decisions affecting retention and distribution strategies.
• Planning for new products, serving as the link between systems and actuarial and ensuring products are built as required.
• Reviewing new product specifications and implementation actuarial vetting scenarios.
