Our client is a South African Healthcare Consulting firm that delivers innovative medical aid administration and health risk management solutions. They are looking for a Technical Marketing Actuary to join their Technical Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Technical Marketing portfolio of a leading South African medical scheme. 

Candidates who are interested should be a Qualified Actuary with at least 3 years’ experience in technical marketing, preferably healthcare. You should be a self-starter with a deep understanding of the SA healthcare market, with advanced analytical skills, a thorough practical knowledge of data manipulation and management and consulting experience. 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Regular technical marketing analysis and review scheme value proposition. 
• Product innovation and development. 
• Informing annual benefit design and pricing. 
• Researching, developing and implementing the scheme’s value-adding product strategy. 
• Conducting market research and competitive review. 
• Presenting and communicating analysis and results to scheme executive management, employer groups and intermediaries.
