Wilhelm qualified as an actuary in 2004 and co-founded SA3 (South African Actuaries Abroad) with his wife Helena in 2005. He has Life Insurance experience in both the South African and UK markets, gained at some of the major insurers in both countries. Wilhelm has managed the business (with Helena and later Henda) since inception and the knowledge and contacts he brings to the business are invaluable. His wife and four children take up most of his spare time, but besides that, he is a keen traveller. His hobbies include any sport that is played with a ball and he makes a mean cappuccino.
