Senior Sales Manager – SA1013

Our client is looking for an actuarial resource to build and mature a new pipeline of business for their product set with Insurance companies. The role will carry an annual sales quota and the following activities will support the attainment of set goals.


Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Development of pipeline, leveraging existing networks
  • Run sales meetings with clients
  • Understanding the product set and value proposition and communicating same to prospects
  • Updates on a weekly basis with “next steps” per transaction as well as opportunity win plans
  • Coordinating all sales activities related to an opportunity and involving pre-sales, professional services, legal counsel and finance at the right time in the engagement process. Each transaction is different, and the Sales Manager needs to be able to adjust the process and his/ her approach to efficiently conclude transactions
  • Completion of commercial proposals by collating inputs from the abovementioned internal stakeholders and demonstrating the value proposition
  • Commercial contract negotiation (pricing and salient points)
  • Presentations
