Assistant Manager: Actuarial Valuations – SA1455

Our client, a diversified financial services group, is looking for a Senior Student to join their Actuarial Valuations team as Assistant Manager.  

Candidates who are interested should have at least 3 years’ experience. You should have Prophet, Basys or Moses, as well as Qlikview, SQL, R or Python experience. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.  

Responsibilities will include being involved in:  

• EV reporting  
• New business profitability analysis 
• Experience investigations 
• Assumption setting 
• Modelling and coding 
• IFRS17 reporting 
• Data reconciliation exercises 
• Sales channel support 
• Automation projects
