Employee Benefits Actuarial Analyst – SA1465

Our client is a growing, fast-paced and dynamic company that provides comprehensive employee benefits products to their clients. They are looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join their Corporate and Employee Benefits team. 

Candidates who are interested should have at least 1 year’s Risk Pricing experience in the Insurance Industry as well as understanding of insurance and the risks around data. You should be a highly analytical self-starter who is good at planning and organising. You should be able to work with speed and accuracy and be competent and reliable. You should have good communication skills and be service orientated. 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Liaising with internal teams, accounting, valuations, systems implementation, systems, operational teams, pricing and technical marketing.  
• Analysing the root causes of errors and the parties impacted by root causes.  
• Documenting data issues and possible solutions.  
• Improving manual Excel tools to lock and version control tools so changes cannot be made.  
• Being knowledgeable of risk factors in the data processes of the business and how these risks are managed.  
• Supporting testing of solutions both in writing testing cases and creating reports for the testing and signing off the testing once completed.  
• Analysing raw data.
