Financial Reporting Actuary – BH1479

Our client is one of the largest global reinsurers that delivers a tailored and diverse range of actuarial, underwriting and reinsurance expertise to their clients. They are looking for a Financial Reporting Actuary to join their Bahrain Branch.  

Candidates who are interested should be a Qualified Actuary with at least 5 years of experience in a life insurance or reinsurance environment. You should have strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work in a team. Responsibilities will include: 

  • Compiling and processing actuarial reserve analyses. 
  • Reporting and analysis to meet regulatory requirements. 
  • Drawing up quarterly and annual financial statements; including preparation of various disclosure requirements. 
  • Drawing up quarterly and annual economic valuation in accordance with Solvency II. 
  • Providing reporting packs to and engagement with the signing Actuary and External Auditors. 
  • Compiling and analysis of planning and forecasting information. 
  • Prepare reports and analysis to management on performance and projected results. 
  • Coordination and support of the Risk department.
