Global Investment Analyst – SA1371

Our client is one of the largest hedge funds in South Africa with the longest and most successful track record in the industry. They are looking for a Global Investment Analyst to join their team. This role works directly with the portfolio managers as they research companies and evaluate investment opportunities. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a career in financial markets. 

Candidates who are interested should be an ambitious and highly motivate Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuaries with an impressive academic record. You should have an interest in financial markets and investing as well as a degree of curiosity, energy, drive and confidence. You should have a very strong work ethic, strong analytical and modelling skills, as well as excellent communication skills.  

Responsibilities will include: 

• Doing research on global market sectors and companies.  
• Based on the research, doing financial modelling of the companies to assist the investment decision-making process.
