Head of Actuarial – SA1477

Our client, a specialist South African Non-Life insurance company, is looking for a young and dynamic qualified actuary to start an in-house Actuarial team.

The primary aim of the role is to bring many aspects of the company’s 1st line actuarial work in-house, including the preparation of their quarterly and annual QRTs, annual ORSA and other SCR modelling to support business decisions. Further growth will include assisting the business with their annual reinsurance renewals, as part of their comprehensive reinsurance programme. The ultimate goal is to bring the HAF function in-house as well.
