Life and Non-Life Consulting Actuaries – SA1467

We have several leading global consulting firms who are looking for Nearly and Newly Qualified Life and Non-Life Actuaries to join their Consulting teams in Cape Town and Johannesburg. These roles offer the opportunity to work on a wide range of engagements across the life and non-life insurance sectors.  

Candidates who are interested should be Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuaries with Life or Non-Life experience. You should have proven project and people management skills, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to engage with clients and senior personnel. 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Proactively assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients. 
• Being involved in the financial management of clients as well as in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities regarding new/existing clients. 
• Developing strategies to solve complex technical challenges. 
• Assisting in the management and delivering of large projects. 
• Training, coaching and supervising staff. 
• Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
