Pricing Actuary – SA1478

Our client is a reinsurance solutions provider to the Life/Health and Property/Casualty insurance industries. They are looking for a Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary to join their Life Australia, UK, SA, Canada division as Pricing Actuary 

Candidates who are interested should be Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuaries with prior work experience in pricing, product development or reinsurance. You should have excellent IT skills as well as verbal and written communication skills. You should have strong problem-solving skills, particularly when in new situations or dealing with clients. 

  Responsibilities will include: 

• Preparing quotations for new business and reviews of existing business for both Group and Individual Life business across multiple product lines. 
• Support of analysis and assessment of life and health reinsurance portfolios for the purposes of risk management, experience studies, planning and quotation. 
• Developing new products and assisting clients with revisions to existing products. 
• Monitoring and provision of management information statistics. 
• Maintaining the Company’s pricing guidelines, pricing tools and treaty wording standards. 
• Undertaking focused research, which will generate competitive advantage through superior understanding of risk. 
• Managing client relationships.
